We purchased an above ground pool from Clearwater pools 12 years ago. Every season we go in multiple time to make sure our pool is properly balanced. last year we noticed the pool was starting to rust. This year unfortunately it is unusable. Their website states that there is a 55 year warranty and their pools are 100% corrosion free. When you bring that up to them, they give you the run around. apparently our pool was purchased through a third party and they can't seem to give us the distributer information. Clearwater pools Customer service is terrible, the managers hide in the back room so they don't have to talk to you. they won't return phone calls. They won't give us the information we need to file a claim. I guess this is how Clearwater Pools take care of their long time customers. Our daughter has been stationed with the Coast Guard in cold rainy Kodiak Alaska for 3 1/2 years and was looking forward to soaking up some sunshine in the pool, unfortunately the only ones enjoying the pool are the frogs. If you are looking into investing in a pool, I would very highly suggest you look elsewhere. If you are not shelling out money on pool products, Clearwater pools wants nothing to do with you.
