Joe,
What can I say! 24.4lbs down in 6 weeks! Let me begin by saying that I am truly proud of myself, I am thankful for the love and support of my significant other, family , friends, and I am very elated with the FOTC family and challenge. I walked into orientation with a thought that this may not have been for me. Joe said, if you're hesitant about the information you just received and you're already making excuses, then this program is not for you. So I took that as a motivator. I've tried all kinds of diets and gym memberships to only end up right back where I started. I needed more time, more focus, a set regimen, intense workouts that changed daily, more encouragement from team members who were willing to put in just as much work and dedication as me for a better result, and most of all, I needed for ME to STOP MAKIN EXCUSES and just do it. I must say that "The Money" was a motivator to stay focused. However after seeing the weight drop off by "following the damn instructions", the money was no longer a motivator. It was the results I was seeing from the weight loss, my health, my demeanor, my relationships, and my overall mindset that kept me motivated. The money at the end of this 6 weeks challenge was then a "BONUS" This challenge allowed me to meet people who were in the challenge for some of the same reasons as myself which led to more inspiration to want to succeed even more. During this challenge I have learned proportions, balance, and that I only limit myself to what I can do. It only took one time for rock star coach Sasha to tell me in my first week that I was resting too much and that I needed to push myself. Now in my head, I'm thinking, "Um do you not see how much weight I have on me?" At that point, I knew that someone cared enough to see me WIN. Thank you, Thank you, and Thank you for pushing me harder than I would have pushed myself. To all of you that are thinking about starting the challenge, all I will say is go in with an open mind, want to achieve, and Trust the Process. Now on to the next 20lb challenge in 6 weeks. #keptpushing #nevergaveup #ilovemyself read more
