Coffee Code is definitely a must try with so many options, each containing amazing flavors infused with coffee! We went to the location in Norwalk, CA--and we cannot emphasize enough--THIS IS A MUST GO!
We went for a drink she was hesitant to try at first, the iced Peanut Butter Cream Latte (with oat milk). It immediately became one of our favorites after the first sip. The peanut butter cream was not as overwhelming where it tasted artificial. It gave off more of a nutty taste mixed with the nice touch of coffee. This is actually a signature drink and is highly recommended.
We also went with the drink of the season. We got the iced Pumpkin Spice Latte (with oat milk). His review? The best freaking pumpkin spice latte we've ever tried so far. The drink tastes like a pie, yet not overly sweet where it becomes overwhelming after a couple sips. It's balanced with spices, so the drink collects the bitterness from them and the coffee. It's rich in sweetness from the other additives, plus smooth from the oat milk. This drink is seasonal only and a must try, so GO GET IT!!!!!
For pastries we got the spinach kale--best thing ever!!! And the classic butter croissant, which we enjoy from this location!
Other drinks they carry are Peppermint Mocha, which you could switch with white mocha and the iced Caramel Island, which is similar to the caramel macchiato was suggested, but that's in the secret menu! They have so many options, let us know what you tried.
The place is super recommended and won best art latte championships twice! Parking is slim there, but across the residential street, there is an area with more parking, so station the car there. There's also two other locations, one in Buena Park and another in Fullerton. Also, fun fact: The owner of Coffee Code is related to the previous owners of Flat White, who are now owners of Long Black Coffee in Fountain Valley. read more
