It's located in a residential neighborhood, so the crowd leaned more local and low-key rather than overly trendy, which I appreciated. I also liked the music playlist, though lowering the volume just slightly would make it even better for reading or working. There's a small private parking lot, and street parking in the neighborhood seems manageable as well. I've been going to coffee code for years, when the Buena Park location was the OG Korean coffee shop in the area. I was in the area of Santa Fe and needed a quick pick me up, and was pleasantly surprised to see coffee code have a location in Norwalk. The parking is sparse but the was plenty of seating indoors. I didn't want anything crazy, so I opted for my usual iced americano. The espresso was smooth and light. My partner got the strawberry latte, which was smooth and not too sweet! The strawberry flavor isn't artificial which makes the drink even more enjoyable. The shop is quiet and bright, which is ideal for studying! I wouldn't go out of my way for the coffee here. The Blueberry and Coffee Cake were both really good, the only thing I wish was for it to be warmed up. I would still recommend these.
