This is my second time coming to Coffee Code. Nestled in between residences and some industrial area this Coffee Shop is cute little gem. I am taking a certificate course for my job and needed a place get some homework done. It was bustling today, which I was surprised for Sunday. The young ladies attending me today were very welcoming and nice. I ordered the Iced Strawberry Latte with Almond Milk. I love this drink neither too coffee tasting nor too sweet just right. They do have a few outlets for you to plug in your laptops or devices. The wifi does not have a password it's a general wifi. I generally like one with a password-my preference . I loved all the 90s-2000s music they were playing too!! I came here for a first date on Wednesday, July 8, 2pm and overall had a decent experience! The highlight was definitely the coffee. I ordered an iced caramel latte, and it absolutely did not disappoint. The espresso was rich and flavorful, while the caramel added just the right amount of sweetness without overpowering the drink. I also loved that they use coffee ice cubes, it kept the latte from getting watered down, and honestly, I thought it tasted even better as it sat. The staff was friendly, and our drinks came out pretty quickly, which I appreciated. The only downside was the atmosphere. It's a very small shop with seating for maybe 20 people inside, plus 4 small two-person tables outside (without any shade). When we visited, almost everyone else was working on laptops, so it didn't feel like the best place to sit and chat. The music was also fairly loud and mostly K-pop, which didn't really match the coffee shops aesthetic and made conversation a little more difficult. Parking was probably my biggest complaint. There are only four dedicated parking spots, and the surrounding residential street parking was completely packed. I ended up parking in the chicken restaurant's lot across the street. Overall, I'd definitely come back for the coffee, it was genuinely one of the better iced caramel lattes I've had. If you're looking to grab a quality drink to go, I'd highly recommend it. The coffee gets a 5 out of 5! I got the peanut butter cream top latte and it was absolutely delicious. Not too sweet, great peanut butter flavor. My issues were with just about everything else. The parking is impossible - the lot in the back only fits 4 cars and the street parking is full of residential cars. The interior is pretty small and it was super crowded when we got there. There's seating for maybe 20ish people which was all full and a line of about 10 people when we got there so it was even hard to find places to stand. We watched a number of people walk into the door behind us and immediately walk back out. Service took a long time, I understand they were busy but from the time we walked in until the time we left took 27 minutes and we got 3 peanut butter lattes. I don't know if there was something special going on or if they are always that busy but I probably wouldn't go back and test my luck. The staff were okay, they weren't friendly or unfriendly they were just there so that didn't make a positive or negative impact on the visit. read more

We visited Coffee Code on a Sunday morning. There's only a three parking spots, but you can also park on the street. There were a few people waiting in line. Inside was clean and spacious with minimal decor. Iced Strawberry Latte I usually don't like strawberry (fruity flavors) with my latte, but it was pretty good. The strawberry flavor wasn't overpowering. This was my husband's drink and he enjoyed it. He also liked the sweet cream top. Iced Horchata Latte This is why I came here. Coffee Code was a refreshing change of pace, exactly the kind of spot you stumble upon when you're craving something a little different. I went with the Spanish latte, and while it had a unique twist on the classic, I did wish the coffee flavor packed a bit more of a punch. Still enjoyable though! The location has parking in the back, and the inside is surprisingly spacious with plenty of tables, perfect if you're looking for a solid spot to work or study. Parking wasn't the best, but let's talk about the experience! When I walked in, I didn't receive a warm welcome. Still, I couldn't resist snapping some photos right away. Eventually, the cashier asked for a moment to take my order. I tried the Iced Peanut Butter Cream, but unfortunately, it was only served cold, despite being listed as hot on the menu. I also ordered the warm Napoleon, and that was absolutely delicious! The vibe and aesthetics of the place are inviting. However, it did get a bit crowded about 15 minutes into my visit. I didn't manage to finish my latte, as it leaned a bit sweet for my taste. Overall, I'd rate my experience a solid 3.9 out of 5. The cleanliness and spaciousness made it a nice spot to hang out. I will preface this by saying this is one of the best coffee shops in the area in terms of the quality of their coffee by far. That being said the general ambience is good and I've never experienced it being too loud to read or study. It is clean and and the music in the background is nice. That being said there are several downsides, one being that the customer service is pretty "meh". A few of the baristas take nonchalance to the next level in that they don't really smile or say much besides "I'll be right with you". The other is that the parking is pretty limited and lastly and the most significant is that they have some pretty bad habits when it comes to leaving milk out. I've seen them leave multiple open containers of milk and oat milk on the counter for the entire 10 minutes I was there (and they had been sitting out when I walked in). I only mention it because while their coffee is great it has on a few occasion caused an upset stomach likely due to the milk not being at temp/ left out read more

My absolute FAVORITE coffee shop in my home area My go to is the horchata latte. It tastes like actual coffee and the prices here are incredibly reasonable! The coffee cube option is such a nice touch, I really appreciate the little details they put into this place. I've brought a few orders to work with me and everyone is OBSESSED. I've been going to coffee code for years, when the Buena Park location was the OG Korean coffee shop in the area. I was in the area of Santa Fe and needed a quick pick me up, and was pleasantly surprised to see coffee code have a location in Norwalk. The parking is sparse but the was plenty of seating indoors. I didn't want anything crazy, so I opted for my usual iced americano. The espresso was smooth and light. My partner got the strawberry latte, which was smooth and not too sweet! The strawberry flavor isn't artificial which makes the drink even more enjoyable. The shop is quiet and bright, which is ideal for studying! They seemed to have a bit of a log of online orders, so it took a bit for the drinks to be ready, but it was worth the wait. read more

I ordered a Blueberry Muffin, Coffee Cake, peanut butter iced latte, and a Strawberry iced latte The drinks were okay, nothing special, if anything tasted more syrup/sugar than actual peanutbutter of strawberry flavor. I wouldn't go out of my way for the coffee here. The Blueberry and Coffee Cake were both really good, the only thing I wish was for it to be warmed up. I would still recommend these. Overall this is a great place to study, good amount of tables, it's moderate volume and has good study music. I would recommend this place if you have homework/work to do. If you're looking for high quality coffee, this is the place. Their espresso is perfectly roasted, smooth, balanced, and it pairs well with any flavor. This OG Korean cafe spot has the best strawberry latte! I'm not a huge fan of coffee so this is saying a lot. I really don't enjoy dark, burnt-tasting coffee, and this was clean and well balanced. The staff were polite and professional, and the overall atmosphere felt relaxed. It's located in a residential neighborhood, so the crowd leaned more local and low-key rather than overly trendy, which I appreciated. I also liked the music playlist, though lowering the volume just slightly would make it even better for reading or working. There's a small private parking lot, and street parking in the neighborhood seems manageable as well. I had such a great experience at this coffee shop! The barista was the sweetest I believe her name was Eliana she was super friendly and welcoming, which made my visit even better. I loved the coffee here. The Peanut Butter Cream Top Latte was rich and smooth but not overly sweet, which I really appreciate. I also tried the Horchata Latte and it was amazing! It's already strong with a double shot, but I asked for a triple shot and that extra boost which I feel made it perfect. I live extremely close to their Fullerton location and to this day, I still have not tried it. I decided to spend one morning out in this area and saw that they had a Coffee Code nearby so I finally got to try them out. I've heard a lot of great things about this establishment so that was a plus. Here's what I ordered: **Iced Strawberry Latte: A plus that this drink was served with coffee ice cubs however, the amount of ice cubes filled at least 75% of my drink. The strawberry portion was extremely syrupy and sweet. The espresso flavor was nonexistent. (2/5) **Iced Americano: A decent Americano but it was on the more sour side. (2/5) Service was honestly very pleasant on a random rainy weekday morning with plenty of customers. Coffee Code is a one and done for me.
