I own a condo on a 2nd floor in the community managed by Park Almaden HOA that is a part of this organization. We have terrible rat infestation and one can see rats running around during the daytime even! They climb on the top second floors as well and destroy plants, furniture and anything else that you might put on your balcony. I am even scared of opening balcony these days for the fear that rats can come inside my condo. Look at all these rat feces in the photos. I have videos of rats as well. I contacted my HOA multiple times and got a response that they have enough traps on the property and they won't do anything about my problem. I have seen no traps anywhere and if they have enough traps then why we have this issue?! I can only imagine what people on the first floor are faced with every day. My HOA is close to 600$ and I was suggested to manage trapping of rats by myself as if this is not their job at all and part of the service I am paying for. Not to mention that having feces everywhere and cleaning them from my balcony represents a health hazard to me! Don't buy or rent in the communities managed by this organization! read more
