I bought a 2018 Maxima SV a couple of years ago. Unfortunately there is almost no aftermarket for that car. I wanted to upgrade the brakes like when I put Shelby GT500 brakes on my previous 07 Mustang GT. Finding out how to do this on a Maxima is kind of difficult. I assumed that there would be overlap between the Maxima and the Z's or Infiniti's. But which one? I found that what many people have done is put the 370z Akebono brakes on to the Maxima. It's pretty much a straight swap. The down side to doing this is the cost. It's about $2,000 for the kit!!! After struggling with the cost for about a year or so I did a Google search and came across Concept Z. Their price for the kit was about $300 cheaper than Z1 motorsports which is the company that most people seem to go with. I gave Concept Z a call and spoke with Nick for about 15 minutes. Nick was very helpful. I bought their set and the calipers arrived within a few days. Problem is that they sent me 4 rear calipers. I was pretty bummed because I was planning on having the brakes installed on the weekend. Nick shipped out the correct front calipers via 2-day shipping so I was able to get them on Friday and have them installed on Saturday. Great customer service.
