I bought a 2018 Maxima SV a couple of years ago. Unfortunately there is almost no aftermarket for that car. I wanted to upgrade the brakes like when I put Shelby GT500 brakes on my previous 07 Mustang GT. Finding out how to do this on a Maxima is kind of difficult. I assumed that there would be overlap between the Maxima and the Z's or Infiniti's. But which one? I found that what many people have done is put the 370z Akebono brakes on to the Maxima. It's pretty much a straight swap. The down side to doing this is the cost. It's about $2,000 for the kit!!! After struggling with the cost for about a year or so I did a Google search and came across Concept Z. Their price for the kit was about $300 cheaper than Z1 motorsports which is the company that most people seem to go with. I gave Concept Z a call and spoke with Nick for about 15 minutes. Nick was very helpful. I bought their set and the calipers arrived within a few days. Problem is that they sent me 4 rear calipers. I was pretty bummed because I was planning on having the brakes installed on the weekend. Nick shipped out the correct front calipers via 2-day shipping so I was able to get them on Friday and have them installed on Saturday. Great customer service. I paid for next day standard, first they didn't ship my products the day of purchase because they said they didn't have the part in stock after the purchase and through email. Because of this and the fact that next day shipping is only valid M-F my parts aren't going to be here Until Monday afternoon/evening and I purchase everything on Thursday close to 2pm AZ time, that's 5 days until I get my stuff. They should have contacted me directly as my phone number is in my account profile. I even spoke to a person over chat, kyle, kevin, chad whatever to confirm I would get my parts Friday if I ordered then. When I contacted them to find out why my shipping lable was created on Friday that's when I found out about the part not being in stock and the delayed shipping. I explained that I needed the parts next day which is why I was willing to pay $39 for shipping AZ to TX and the person said I would get it on Sat. Fning LIAR. Unless you live in AZ I would highly recommend you go to Z1 instead, I have NEVER had any problems with them. read more

I ordered a set of 10mm Eibach spacers with extended studs for my Z32. They arrived and I noticed the studs don't fit because the knurled portion is too wide. I contacted Concept Z via chat and was told the front and rear hubs have different size studs for the 300ZX. So they are 100% aware of this information but there is NO mention on their website when you order these spacers. The guy was taking 10 mins at a time to send a reply. His name was Dalton. I told him that my car is on the lift in pieces since Friday and how I had to wait the weekend to contact them since they're closed. He made no apology and couldn't care less when I talked to him on Monday. I had enough of him and all the waiting so I ended the chat asking to send me the right parts and to contact me if there are any issues. Of course nobody got back to me and they never sent out the right parts. I called them back that same day and was on hold for over 30 minutes. Meanwhile I got on the chat section again and spoke with a guy named Brian. I told him what happened as well and that I'd like to have replacements studs sent out and to send me a label for the wrong ones so I can return them. He said they cannot do anything and advised me to just go ahead and buy more studs from their site. What a great guy, I couldn't have come up with that solution on my own! He also didn't apologize or care to fix anything! The phone call I was still on hold for was finally answered by a guy named Nick. I told him what happened as well and asked for the same solution, to send me the correct studs. His reply was "we're not going to send you free studs". Clearly he doesn't understand what it means to exchange a product and send a return label. When I told him that I've been a loyal customer of theirs for years and that I won't do business with them anymore he said I'm welcome to take my business elsewhere. This is the arrogant attitude they have towards the people that make their paycheck a possibility! I was so furious at this point with this joke of a company that I cursed him out and hung up. I left another review elsewhere and the owner himself, going by the name of "Coz Ceh", replied by making false statements that I disrespected their entire staff. Of the 3 or 4 guys I spoke with only the last one was cursed out when I couldn't take their incompetence and unapologetic tone any longer! He also stated these spacers come as a kit and they cannot do anything. Really? They couldn't have sent out some different studs? They are like 20 or 30 dollars and they were welcome to have the old ones back. He's obviously so cheap that he cannot solve an issue they caused for a client. All the money I spent and would have continued to spend with them meant nothing, all the way up to the owner himself. If he doesn't care about customer loyalty, business ethics and good customer service, how could his sorry staff?? Coz Ceh ended his reply in truly arrogant fashion. He said "we are more than happy to see you take your business elsewhere, and your account has been deactivated" Is this how you want to be treated? Please go and do business with anyone else besides them, unless you want to experience the same mistreatment. They're a bunch of dishonest people that couldn't care less about their clients. And I cannot stress this enough, if the owner is so arrogant, how can his staff be any different? He could have called me and had this issue solved but he's a little coward with ZERO customer service skills! read more

Concept Z is the place to go if you need OEM parts, especially if you live in or near Phoenix. When I place an order for pick up they process it in no time and my parts will be ready that same day. I like going to them because you can refund the parts if something is wrong with them. There is no inconsistency in pricing because this is a legit business, unlike shady places like Infiniti Motorsports or Turnin Ratchets Garage in Tucson. If you need Nissan parts, I suggest spending a little more money and going with these guys because you will feel 100% secure when making a purchase. read more

I ordered a 75mm throttle body kit a month ago, and I still haven't received it to this day, and I haven't received any emails why I haven't received it, I literally feel like I genuinely have been scammed and it just isn't going to be shipped to me at all, but after going out of my way to live chat with them they told me they're waiting on their own shipment of the throttle body's, but had I known they'd be on back order this long I wouldn't have ordered it at all, and it didn't say anywhere on the website when I ordered it that they were even on back order at all, I'd highly advise against going with them, and they're customer service is horrible as well read more

So far I would not recommend this transmission or Concept Z Performence to anyone! After buying this transmission new from them and having it installed my fifth gear popped out immediately when driven and has trouble going into reverse when I called and told them what happened they seemed very unwilling to want to help with the warranty of the transmission, and continue to tell me it has been installed incorrectly. Saying my shifter was torqued to tight.... Customer service was horrible, all the guy on the other end of the phone ( Coz ) would do is argue with me and criticize the shop that did the work and say it was installed incorrectly... the car is currently at Nissan to confirm the transmission is bad. After spending $2,000 on a transmission and having issues with it immediately after install I hope they can make things right. read more
