The Conrad is one of the most stunning residence-turned-museums I've ever been in and that's saying something considering I've been to dozens by now because it's my favorite style of museum that isn't an art museum. My partner and I did the self-guided tour and immensely enjoyed ourselves, being able to move and read everything at our own pace. It was so amazing to learn about the local history in this way! To know that over 90% of the artifacts are original?! That's almost unheard of. It really is well preserved.
