Hub's got takeout from Cooper's yesterday. He got meatballs, dumplings, and egg rolls. Despite every dish (and I think they were appetizer sizes) looking good, the flavor and quality was very subpar. Any of these dishes could be found at any number of regional franchise places like TGIFriday's (if anyone remembers those), Ruby Tuesday, Apple ees, or Champy's, or any number of local sports bars. It was nice of the Hubs to give their food and honest try, I was just completely underwhelmed. Where is the innovation? Where is the unique twist on these all too familiar dishes?
