Went there for a girls night. Took a bit to be greeted by staff and then took a bit to be helped, and only 2 other people in the place.. but after the waitress came over she was professional . We had whiskey sours and margaritas, both were spirit forward with way too much ice but still yummy and enjoyable.
We ordered the sourdough and butter, then the sourdough appetizer with goat cheese, beet and a cured meat and honey..very very good! My favourite dish of the night.
Kale salad was next, kind of underwhelming - needed more cheese and it was a bit dry. Topped it off with a pasta and it was yummy, simple and Al dente. Small pieces of meat were awesome, wish there were more.
Overall, it was a one time spot for me. The location was eclectic / hipster with good ambience and overall good food. Worth trying once of you live near by but you could get more for much less with better service elsewhere.
Also, the washrooms were very nice which I always appreciate. Points for those because that matters! read more
