The new Boone Tavern Restaurant, Crafted is stunning! It's like walking into an art gallery. The beautifully displayed Berea College crafts are truly awe-inspiring & pays homage to the history of the student craft department. Floor to ceiling AND wall to wall, this Restaurant is absolutely beautiful. Not at all discrediting the previous historic restaurant, but it was time to showcase something foundational about Berea College (yes, I'm biased as an alumna). Joined a colleague for lunch & were experienced great service & scrumptious food. My smash cheeseburger was delicious and she shared that her fried green tomato sandwich was really good. Fries were hot & fresh! Our highlight was the Mocktail!!! Made with a non-alcoholic wine and ginger beer, it was very refreshing! Our complimentary Spoonbread came out after our food, but he was enjoyed the freshness! I highly recommend and visit. The menu offers a great variety and I am eager to try there new bar & cocktails.
