What an excellent experience! The food, the atmosphere, and the staff are all great! If you're in the area, definitely check this place out!
We went in on a stormy night and were treated the nicest, cozy dinner! We ordered the short rib and the seolleongtang. The flavors were incredible and unique. The dishes were balanced and fun. I especially enjoyed the orange miso sauce with the short ribs! It was paired with a parsnip fritter, which was delicious and matched the short rib nicely. The mustard salad (cucumbers) provided some acidity and freshness, making it a perfect dish.
The desserts were also incredible! We split the sweet potato cheesecake and the vanilla sikhye sorbet. Both were delicious and such a nice blend of flavors! The sorbet was made with a rice cream, which had silky texture. It was sweet but not sweet, which balanced out the slightly tangy plum jam. The crumble added a great texture too. The cheesecake also had a fun balance of textures and flavors with the toasted marshmallow, crunchy kong-garu, and savory-sweet cheesecake.
The people here are very nice too and create such a welcoming, calm space. It was a great place to catch up with a friend and enjoy delicious food! read more
