I ordered Mul-mandu which are steamed beef, pork and vegetable dumplings. They were extremely good and plentiful. I also ordered Dolsot Bibim Bob which is a hot stone pot rice with egg, meat, noodles and veggies and spicy sauce. It was also pretty good and very filling. With your food, you also get 6 side dishes to complement your food. To end it all, they offer you a cold ginger tea that hit the spot! The food was very affordable and I will be visiting again soon to try out other menu items.

The restaurant itself is quite homey, and it's an authentic Korean spot. I was a bit taken aback at the lack of banchan, though the woman who runs it is quite welcoming and offered small bites of (in her words) kimchi freshly made by her sister. She recommended that we order 1 dish per person, so we opted for five to share. As each item came out, we were quite frankly astonished at the small portion sizes. I don't think anyone would be full off of the beef bulgogi alone - especially when not accompanied by rice - and the kimchi fried rice was surprisingly small as well. On top of that, there was certainly sticker shock at the sky-high prices. The menus we found pictures of online were several years and dollars outdated, so here's what we paid for each item: scallion pancake ($20 for 8 slices), beef bulgogi ($32), kimchi fried rice ($20), bibimbap ($20), and kalguksu ($26). Despite the decent food, I wouldn't come back simply because of the price tag (for small quantities).

The cook on the egg was great (nice and gooey in the center and the white was nice and soft) but it was a little cold and lacked flavor (could've been marinated for longer?). The pork was a nice cut of meat but despite being blowtorched it was a little chewy and lacked a bit of flavor also. The lack of marination on these toppings was helped by the fact that the broth was great and flavorful and if you ate them with the broth and noodles, it was satisfying! I think the broth was the best part; I tried both of them and enjoyed drinking the broth by itself even without eating the noodles with it. Overall, I thought the ramen was OK (the soup was the best part!) but for the price and portion I think this is a nice place to stop by for lunch! Now that a bbq chicken has opened locally, all we need is a good kbbq spot and a place with gukbap in the area and we'll be set!
