Love a good burger, shake and fries. This place has been a staple in Bend for a long time. You pull into your stall and flash your lights when you are ready to order. Car hops are still on roller skates (good for them.. I might have broken an ankle). Menu board is positioned high enough you can see it from all seats in the car. Decided to get the little dandy with bacon and cheese, fries (we will come back to these) and a malt. I was a little bummed (personal issues) that there was not a huckleberry malt/shake available. I Decided to go with cookies and cr. It was so creamy it was hard to suck through the straw until it melted a little bit. Ok.. now for the fries. I absolutely hate shoestring fries so I was happy to see they have thick cut ones. Almost like a steak-cut fry but not as big. Cooked just right, crunch on the outside soft on the middle. read more
