Note: I'm reviewing this as a customer and not as a dasher.
DashMart is a mini "grocery store" run by DoorDash.
Unlike your friendly neighborhood TJs or Sprouts, this place is strictly designed for pick-up orders so purposefully doesn't have customer experience baked into the design. That is, unless you count the lovely signs that greet you that say "NO LOITERING" "NO DRUGS & ALCOHOL" "NOT OPEN TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC" "NO TRESPASSING" and "Welcome!" (I'm not exaggerating, check out the photo lol)
Instead, dashers (or consumers) visit what feels like an old warehouse to pick up groceries through a window. Here's the process if you'd like to try getting something from here:
"HOW TO DASHMART" - CUSTOMER VERSION
1. Place your order in the DoorDash App. Select pickup.
2. When you arrive, ring the bell on the outside of the DashMart. Someone will beep you in.
3. Enter the unsettlingly grungy and plain lobby.
4. Walk up to the window and give your name. Grab your goods.
I honestly just ordered from here because my credit card grants two, $10 DoorDash credits a month and I'm not a delivery kind of guy. However, after picking up sparkling water and some green onions for $10 here, I think I'll just stick to restaurant pickup.
TL;DR - Just order delivery from here when you need essentials and when you have the cash to burn. No point in visiting in person given your local grocery store is cheaper (and less spooky inside.) read more
