Finally made it to Delacroix after watching this spot come to life. Previously The Crazy Lobster, this newly opened restaurant and bar sits right on the Riverwalk, offering indoor and outdoor seating w| views of the Mississippi River that make you linger just a little longer. I popped in for drinks and small bites. The gumbo was decent, classic restaurant-style gumbo that you get when you're in New Orleans, a few dashes of hot sauce gave it the kick it needed. My cocktail? Gorgeous and delicious. They surprised me w| bread pudding for my birthday, and I was thrilled to find it raisin-free (a win in my book!!) I'm already planning my return to sit down properly and savor a full meal, the food looks + sounds good, I hope it actually is. I'll most certainly update my review.
