Came here for restaurant week and came with some friends over to Delacroix. The location is amazing along the Mississippi river in a newly refurbished building near the riverwalk. The best of the dishes we tried was the crispy fish collars, perfectly fried fish with a bunch of meat on the collars and edible bones. I had the watermelon salad for my second course and my entree was the turtle with fried catfish. The turtle was very underwhelming and almost tasted like it was leftovers, it wasnt even warm. The fish on the other hand was perfectly fried. For dessert we had the cobbler which again was excellent. Overall other than the turtle it was a great dinner. I will be back.

On my first night in New Orleans, we decided to try De La Croix for dinner, and it was just alright. The server was great, and the space itself has a great ambiance. You can see the Mississippi River from the restaurant since it's right on the waterfront. I started with a Shirley Temple, which was good, and we got a loaf of bread that wasn't my favorite. It was very crumbly and basically fell apart when you touched it. My main complaint is that there aren't many options for vegetarians. I don't eat red meat or shellfish, which left me with only a Caesar salad and fries to choose from. The salad was peppery and flavorful, but I still left dinner pretty hungry. Overall, it's hard for me to fully judge the restaurant since I wasn't able to try one of their entrées, but if you're vegetarian, just be aware that your options are pretty limited.

Grilled Redfish, blackened - must order!

A local recommended Delacroix, and it's one of the best meals I've had. I loved it so much that I ate here three days out of my four-day trip. The grilled redfish is perfection. Freshly caught from a local fishing town of their namesake, perfectly cooked, and topped with a crawfish butter that is packed with the authentic local flavor. I ate it three days in a row. Service is charming southern hospitality. And I swear they operate under "Unreasonable Hospitality" principles (if you haven't read the book, highly recommend!). Location is perfectly situated at the end of Riverwalk Outlets, with a view of the Mississippi. Don't miss Delacroix if you're in NoLa!

Beautiful spot near the river. Lovely interior and plenty of outside seating. Alicia was our server - very sweet. Chef Wiley was visiting every table which was such a nice surprise. She gave us her recommendations and told us a little bit about herself. We loved that. The redfish melted In your mouth. The drum fish was amazing . The shrimp creole was yummy as well. The crab legs were a tad on the sparse side in terms of crabmeat. The Bismarck dessert was very tasty- we all couldn't stop eating it . Probably some of the best food we have had all weekend so far. Trust me you won't be disappointed.

Everything was phenomenal. The seafood was so fresh. Our server was super attentive and knowledgeable. And the attention to detail in the restaurant is incredible. I can't wait to go back! The only negative thing I have to say is the catfish was super thick. I rather a thinly fried catfish but that's just personal preference.

Came here for lunch with my friends and had a wonderful experience! The food was amazing, and the fish was cooked to perfection fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. I had the Caesar salad, and the anchovy and lemon dressing was perfectly balanced. The grilled redfish with creamed corn on the side was absolutely delicious as well. Everything came together beautifully, and we really enjoyed our meal. I'll definitely be back!

A group of 6 of us went last night. The service was good. The prices were through the roof. The food was just okay. We started with some specialty cocktails which were delicious. We ordered the crispy snapper collars. Be careful with this appetizer. It is full of bones. I was startled by that and did not eat another bite of that appetizer. We ordered boudin balls and chargrilled oysters. Both were delicious. For our entrees, my husband ordered the grilled redfish with creamed corn and spicy crawfish butter. It was very tasty. I wish I had ordered that. I ordered the Turtle Sauce Piquante and Morgan City wild catfish. The fish was freshly fried but the sauce was not hot at all. A friend ordered the seafood salad and she said it was just basic. We ordered 3 desserts to share around the table. Two of the three were really good. The Mississippi Mud Pie and the Pontchatoula Shortcrust were the stars of the evening. The Baked Bismarck was just okay and one note. For the prices they charge and the so so food, we will not be going back.

The food, service, and location on the Water was amazing. We had oysters, the bread, the drum and all cooked and prepared perfect and the duck gumbo were amazing. The Almandine drum was fried and perfect breading. We then finished off with some bread pudding. The only thing missing was a cappuccino because they do not have a cappuccino machine or an espresso machine. All recommended for great food.

First time here & going to give it 5 stars out of the gate (which is rare for me). 1. Is the overall vibe inside. Tables were not cramped together and there was space to move about. Floor to ceiling windows also help even spots further from the water still have a bit of a view. 2. Cocktail options. Between the 2 of us we had 6 different ones (don't judge) and liked them all. Prices were reasonable for that part of town & the presentation was great. I think 3 had flowers in them. 3. Unique food options that were good. Started with crispy snapper collar. I didn't know what it was but the BF was excited for them. Great presentation and very good. Chef also came by to check on us (and other tables which I appreciated), we also got 1/2 dozen oysters which they let you mix and match with so you're not stuck with only 1 type. Drum Almandine crust and almond topping was amazing. I was also pleasantly surprised by the beef & cavatelli where I swear the pasta was in house made and fresh. 4. Great service. Our waiter was present when needed but not hovering. Super glad we branched out and tried something new even if it's in a bit more of a traditionally touristy area.

Great ambiance and wonderful food! The seafood was so fresh and I loved being able to see the water from our table on the patio.

Beautiful new restaurant, perfectly situated along the great Mississippi River. Great views. Great atmosphere. The food was delicious. We shared a variety of appetizers, I personally enjoyed the hot boudin balls. The crawfish ettouffee was perfectly seasoned and you could tell these were no frozen crawfish like at many local venues. To top it off, we had the best dessert I've ever had: strawberry shortcrust with fresh local Pontchatoula strawberries. The chef brought out multiple of our dishes herself. She was very kind, informative, and attentive. Will certainly return in the future.

    Huge patio.

We stumble up on Delacroix restaurant after a day of shopping, this is a pretty huge restaurant with large windows beautiful decor, and a nice size patio, and the location is just steps from the mighty Mississippi river, the view is just breathtaking. We were seated right away and waited about 20 mins. no one came to our table, I got up and started taking pictures of all of the empty tables, "Yelp about it" I would Imagine someone saw me taking photo's with then mins. a staff was at our table, I started expressing my disappointment to him, he was very nice and he apologize and offered us free drinks, and told us they were doing a photo shoot for their web page, they had only been open a few weeks, our food was very delicious. I will come back here when I get back here next year.

Only came in for one drink but the atmospheres and river views were nice. Sat at the bar, there's TVs for sport's and ample seating. Gonna update this to a full review later after dining in.

Good for business dinners and dates. Most importantly, Peche has some of the best seafood I've had (up there with the daily catch I used to get when I lived directly on the Caribbean Sea, east of the Yucatán peninsula). The whole fish is to die for. Bring someone to share it with (or come hungry). Their sides are also exquisite--at the time, I had the roasted carrots with some sort of creamy, vegan sauce (not currently on the menu); it was so flavorful, almost decadent. I could've eaten only the vegetables and been very satisfied. Note that they do always have some non-fish small plates and entrees on the menu for those non-fish eaters. P.S. They easily accommodated my serious gluten and dairy allergies.

I ordered the shrimp po' boy, which was around $22, and was surprised it didn't come with fries. Usually places either include them or at least mention that they're separate when ordering. We also started with the charbroiled oysters, and whatever topping or seasoning was on them had this weird crunchy, crackling texture that literally felt like it was cracking against my teeth when I bit into it. I don't know if it was burnt cheese or what, but I personally could not eat more than one. The service also wasn't great during our visit. After our food was dropped off, our waiter never checked back in. I had ordered fries separately once I realized they didn't come with the sandwich, but after waiting about 10 minutes with no update, I finally got up and walked to the bar to cancel them because I was almost done eating at that point. Maybe we came at an off time, but overall it just wasn't the experience we were hoping for and probably not somewhere we'd return.
