Diva Dance Tempe/Ahwatukee has officially launch March 2026. I was excited to see that a new studio was opening near me. I previously was a member of the Diva Dance 606 (Chicago) and familiar with the format. For this new studio, the owner (Robyn) is super sweet and very informative. It is nice to support a local business woman. The Tempe studio at Retrograde is ideal for dancing. Plenty of space plus ceiling fans. On to the Diva Dance format. It is a community so every moment feels inclusive. The traditional format is a total of 50 mins with warm up, learned routine, video recording group performance (optional) and cool down. Teachers are very encouraging and do break down the choreography. The monthly calendar publishes the song and the instructor. I am looking forward to when this studio offers the Non-Stop format which is similar to Zumba or Werk. Other people also enjoy the Pom and heels classes. All in all, Diva Dances offers something for everyone. Diva Dances has a range of activities to include a Diva Date program which gets is programming outside of dancing.
