I REALLY wanted to love this place!! The staff is super friendly, it's clean, and not to mention it's 2 minutes from my house. Also they give nice massages with the mani/pedis (which is something I always look for in a nail salon). Coming from Dallas a few years ago it's been so hard to find a nail place out here that lives up to my standards. And at the end of the day, no matter how nice the shop is, I am coming for a nice nail job and that is what I expect. I gave this shop a couple tries to give them a fair shot. Both times my nails were done by Cindy. The first visit I got a plain shellac manicure. It was a fine job, but the shellac started chipping off several nails after only a week. I'd like to see it last at least 2-3 weeks if it's a good job. The second time I got acrylics with a custom paint job. The acrylic nails are super thick and wide, even though I asked for them to be narrow and natural looking. They are also very lopsided, it is clear there was not enough time and attention put into filing them down and evening them out. Also the custom paint job which I paid a good amount for ended up looking pretty sloppy. I feel like I'm trying to hide my nails rather than show them off. I just want the nail salons in Tucson to step it up. If you follow crazi_tracy on Instagram those are the level of nails I am looking for :) read more
