I've recently made this my go to nail place. Overall they are pretty consistent. I've typically been able to get an appointment when I need it. They are hit or miss when it comes to being on time but mostly good. My nails grow very fast but I do the gel and am happy with it. I'd like them to pay a little more attention to detail but I think there's always something at a nail place I don't love. I'll def keep coming here going forward though. read more

Prices are very low! Which is great, but also tell you a lot about their service and quality. Went in for a full set and pedi and was pleased with the pedicure. My nails are totally ruined and will take months to recover! I don't normally get manicures (only pedicures) but had a gel manicure for a wedding back in October. I returned to have the gel removed and the nail tech used a dremel to remove the polish. I've since been told that the nails should be soaked in acetone to remove gel polish. I have had super strong, beautiful and healthy nails my entire life but since the dremel removal, all they do is split and break! This is so aggravating! It's going to take many months before my nails are back to normal (I'm assuming once the areas that were dremeled grow out, my nails will go back to normal...sure hope so). All because a nail tech didn't want to take a few extra minutes to do a proper removal . I'll NEVER come back here. read more

I thought I liked these but my pinky nail is all messed up. You can't really tell in the picture but they are all lumpy looking and the way she did the yellow is she put white on first and then the yellow but it looks so bad. Worst experience ever. I REALLY wanted to love this place!! The staff is super friendly, it's clean, and not to mention it's 2 minutes from my house. Also they give nice massages with the mani/pedis (which is something I always look for in a nail salon). Coming from Dallas a few years ago it's been so hard to find a nail place out here that lives up to my standards. And at the end of the day, no matter how nice the shop is, I am coming for a nice nail job and that is what I expect. I gave this shop a couple tries to give them a fair shot. Both times my nails were done by Cindy. The first visit I got a plain shellac manicure. It was a fine job, but the shellac started chipping off several nails after only a week. I'd like to see it last at least 2-3 weeks if it's a good job. The second time I got acrylics with a custom paint job. The acrylic nails are super thick and wide, even though I asked for them to be narrow and natural looking. They are also very lopsided, it is clear there was not enough time and attention put into filing them down and evening them out. Also the custom paint job which I paid a good amount for ended up looking pretty sloppy. I feel like I'm trying to hide my nails rather than show them off. I just want the nail salons in Tucson to step it up. If you follow crazi_tracy on Instagram those are the level of nails I am looking for :) read more

I called at 5:05 pm today to ask if there were any available appointments. I was told to come in at 5:30 pm. I guess I had the impression I was going to be seen at 5:30 pm. Instead I had to wait 15+ minutes. My advice is if you know you are running behind please just tell your customer we are running a little behind and as an example of excellent customer service, simply share with the customer that we can see you at 5:45 pm. The gentleman who gave me a manicure overall did a good job, I wished he would have spent a little more time on my cuticles. He did when I asked but I could tell he wasn't going to be as detailed as I prefer. Would I come back? Not sure because there are quite a few nail salons within 5 mile radius and perhaps next I should carefully review all yelp reviews to see which salon(s) value customer service. read more

I didn't get anyone's name so I apologize in advance for that. But a male did my pedicure & the trim is uneven & he also picked off some excess cuticle I guess after he painted one of the toes & it messed up the polish so he coated it again (making it the 3rd coat) while all the other coats had 2. I am OCD so that bothered me that neither was even. A woman did my nails. She sat in the middle between 2 other ladies. I can tell the women on both sides of her were pros because they had their regular clients walk in. I think my nails are okay. Not the best but okay. She changed the shape of them, I prefer square not oval. & some of the nails look like the polish is layered too much-where it's really round at the tips. I also have a sore spot on my left ring finger so she must've cut me somewhere. If I go back, I'll be sure to check the reviews & call ahead to make an appointment with those who left good comments about their technician. read more

I love this place! The staff are so friendly and I am so happy with my nails! I showed Megan a picture in the "gallery" of what I wanted and she "nailed it"! LOL I also got a pedicure with French tip and the nail tech was excellent. I really love that they are so well mannered compared to other salons I have been to; in particular one I went to in the mall - they seemed as though they were making fun of me the whole time. I have gone to many salons in the Tucson area and this by far is the best one I have tried. My nails have never looked better in the end at any other place than this. Megan really transformed my nails that I got done at another salon and wasn't completely happy with. I was thinking I would just have to settle for that salon and be slightly unhappy because I've ran into a lot of places that don't do very good jobs. Megan changed that view. My nails looks amazing And at the end she gave me a nice hand massage. Little salon itself was very clean and quiet in the entire staff was very warm and welcoming. Every time somebody came in that they recognize they told them welcome home, And when you left they told you see you next time. As if they really wanted to see you again and that's a really nice feeling going into a business like that. Finally a place in Tucson that gets nails done right. Customer service is awesome and they are very detailed in their work. They really do take an interest in what you want done and will do anything within reason to accomodate you. It is recommended that you schedule an appointment with them to ensure that they have sufficient time to do what you need done without being rushed. This said, when I call for appointments they are usually able to accommodate me with the technician that I request within a couple of hours time. It is worth it and I usually work in some other errands that need to be done on the way. Great Job on Acrylic nails done with glitter and an awesome pedicure. Nails and pedicure usually last two to three weeks which is wonderful as I don't always have the time to get in every two weeks. read more

I was on vacation and way overdo for a fill. Needed full set. Looked at ratings and went to this salon. They were nice but do not know how to do gel nails . They said they do not get many requests. The owner said she she could and did my nails in between her customer. Well they are not good I think they excel at acrylic but not good for gel . I am home now and need to redo them. read more

This review doesn't deserve a 1 star! It deserves absolutely no stars! I've been going here for years, but I recently moved to Benson, and the nail salon there is hard to get into. So I drove from Benson to get my nails done here once again. And first of all, this was the worst and most rudest experience I've ever had at this nail salon. So I go in to get a mani and pedi, but the man in there told me there was no time to do a mani (mind you, this place closes at 7pm. It was only 4pm when I went and it was dead in there). So I decided to get a pedicure since I couldn't get a manicure. The nail technician I got is named Jenny. Jenny is the most aggressive, rudest nail technician I've ever had. This lady made my feet raw from the cheese grater thing because she used no callus remover or lotion- My feet were dry. Jenny also ignored my color request 3 times. I asked her to paint my toes a sparkly blue, but instead she gave me a pink. She did a horrible job on the massaging. She was very rough. I told her that she was hurting my legs and that she needed to be more gentle because I have nerve damage. She laughed sarcastically and continued to be rough. She ended the massage by slapping my legs with her hands and fists. Jenny called over another nail technician to take the paper towels from my toes and left me without saying a word to me to work on another client. When the nice nail technician was done removing the paper towels, she commented on the color of my nails. She said it was a "nice color", but I responded saying that it's not the color I wanted. While I was talking to the nice nail technician, Jenny starts yelling at me rudely and takes off her mask to yell that I never asked for another nail color and that I needed to pay for her 45min pedicure. Mind you, I never questioned the time or cost. I was referring to the incorrect nail color and the aggressive treatment I received and how horrible it was. And there's no way that terrible pedicure was a 45min pedicure. So I originally came in for a $60 pedi and mani, but instead I got a $30 one and no mani. Forgot to mention that the man that told me that I couldn't get a mani is the owner. While Jenny was yelling at me, the owner did absolutely nothing. Just watched and didn't say a word. I will NEVER go back to Diva Nails!!! By the way, there are no safety dividers at pedicure stations. Only manicure stations have the COVID safety dividers. read more
