I'm definitely WEI too crazy a-BAO this new hidden gem! @dumplingweibrentwood opened recently in West LA, and they're serving up an extensive menu of authentic Chinese comfort food dishes, noodle soups, and handmade dumplings at insanely affordable prices! As a Taiwanese person who grew up eating Chinese food, I was actually quite surprisingly impressed with the range and execution of their dishes (especially the beef noodle soups), and I definitely don't think you can go wrong with anything you order. Quite a bit of their dishes are under $10 (with the most expensive item being $15 and the cheapest items around $3-5), making them one of the most affordable spots to eat in West LA, and I can definitely see this spot being super popular with UCLA nearby. Service and ordering is super casual but much more friendly and helpful than other authentic Chinese spots (iykyk lol), and I loved how quickly and efficiently every dish came out after we ordered.
