Everything we ordered hit! The pork xiaolongbao were juicy and packed with flavor, the pork wontons in chili oil had the perfect kick, and the cold cucumber with chili oil is a must-try. We also loved the crispy chili chicken with rice, beef roll, hand-pulled lamb pancake, and golden belly beef noodle soup, so comforting and satisfying. Portions are generous, the staff is friendly, and the vibe is casual but welcoming. If you're a dumpling or noodle lover, this place needs to be on your list!

Wow, delicious dim sum- my favorites were the beef rolls and spicy pork dumplings. Everything was delicious and the service was great . Parking easy on the street or garage.

The food was amazing! The garlic was perfect! We tried so many dishes. The quality of the food is very good! Everything was fresh and was made when we ordered. I really cant tell you what was my favorite because they were all so good! I was really happy with how juicy the dumplings were! And the spicy level was just right! Not dramatic just a perfect hint of spicy! The cucumbers were fresh and a nice palette cleanser to really get the flavor of the next dish! The service was great, you go up to the counter to order and they bring you the food to your table. Highly recommend it!

    Raw, uncooked shrimp dumplings

I WAS SERVED RAW, UNCOOKED SHRIMP AND NOW HAVE FOOD POISONING. Placed a takeout order here. Once I got home I ate a dumpling that was super cold. On my second dumpling, I realized that the shrimp inside was RAW. Completely grey and raw. None of the dumplings I was given were cooked at all. The wrapper was uncooked, shrimp uncooked. The manager Jatzi was apologetic on the phone but there's no changing the fact that I was given uncooked food. I now have food poisoning from eating the raw shrimp that was given to me. Beware of this place, if you dine here, make sure you check if your food is even cooked.

This place has great soup dumplings. The food here is definitely solid and I will be coming back. In addition, all the orders were very nice sized so I ordered too much food for my friend and I. The girl that works here was extremely nice and helpful. She definitely showed concern about how our meal was and taking good care of us. I would definitely give it a try if you're in the area.

Just opened- although the restaurant before this one used to be a different dumpling spot with a similar menu. This one has better options for people who don't eat certain foods - which I was very happy with. They never had chicken for their chili dumplings (only pork), so it was the first thing I ordered, and it was very tasty. A great option for lunch on a workday! I do recommend you call in and order ahead of time for pickup (especially if you're on a time crunch). I waited 15-20 minutes for the 2 items I ordered. 8 out of 10 for me.

Very good, even better than before. Fresh and hot. Friendly staff checked on us. We enjoyed several different dishes including soup dumplings and chicken soup wonton. Green beans were cooked well. Love living a block away.

Really excited to have this addition to Brentwood/WestLA. They have a great menu that mixes some familiar Chinese-American options and some more traditional dishes, like their dumpling options, noodles and their rolls. The first time I came, I ordered the lamb sandwich on the flaky pancake. The lamb was flavorful and I loved the ample amounts of cilantro they include with it. The size of it was very generous! It's definitely a full meal. However, it was very oily. The first half was pretty good. The pancake or bing is very flaky. However, by the time I got to the second half, the bottom of the bing/sandwich was completely soaked in the oil. The second time, I got the lao gan ma noodles. It was very flavorful. I do wish it was a bit spicier, especially since it also includes "lao gan ma" in the name, so I expected some of that chili sauce in it. The noodles remind me of "shanghai fried noodles" with the brown sauce and a decent amount of veggies. I'm excited to come back again to try other items on the menu. Lamb noodles and spicy wontons look really intriguing.

Beef roll! So big and crispy!

WOW. this place is absolutely delicious! The service was excellent. we asked for recommendations and were so glad we did. We wanted to try as much as possible, so we ordered the cucumber salad, beef rolls, braised beef noodle soup, pork dan dan noodles, and the spicy pork wontons. Everything was amazing. We also tried the green milk tea, which was so good. As a huge tea lover, I really appreciated how fragrant it was, super yummy! Overall, every dish was a hit, but our favorites were definitely the spicy wontons and the beef rolls. We'll absolutely be coming back!

Great Chinese food addition to west LA! The food here is great!! The cucumber salad was garlicky and we added some vinegar into ours. The pork XLB filling was yummy, even if the skin wasn't the thinnest. It's still very tasty though and it's the best XLB we've had in the west side. The hand pulled pancake w/ lamb was HUGE and so delicious! The pancake was hot and flaky, and the lamb was very well seasoned without being salty. But I think what takes the cake here are the noodles. The noodles are super long and the texture is so slippery and bouncy. I kept peering into the kitchen to see if they were pulling noodles from a machine. Both of our noodle dishes were soooo good that I went back to the counter and asked. Apparently they pull the noodles at their other location in Pasadena and get them shipped over. The noodles are a must get here!! The braised beef noodle was so simple but soothing for the soul. We don't drink anymore but the first thing I thought was, "This would be amazing hangover soup." The huge daikon pieces were great and the meat was super tender. The Lao Gan Ma fried noodle with chicken had a thicker noodle that was also sooo good (and was great as leftovers the next day!) The huge thing my man and I noticed was how we didn't feel like crap even after eating SO much. We kept waiting for the food coma to hit us but it never did. They must be using less MSG or something. Nothing was too salty but everything was well seasoned which we HIGHLY appreciated. As for service, this is a order at the counter and a lot of the service is DIY which is probably why the prices are so low. It looked new and clean inside and there are plenty of tables. This is the kind of spot where you serve and clean up after yourself, which I'm sure appeals to college students since the pressure to tip isn't there. Personally we didn't mind it at all. We ordered 5 dishes and two sodas for under $60 which is a steal in this area! Sorry for the shit photos we were so hungry and I didn't even take pictures of it all. This is going to be a staple in our dinner rotations. Hoping they stick around for the long run!!

    Beef Roll

BF wanted beef roll, and Dumpling Wei came up on the search. Stopped by on Saturday before Noon and was not a very busy place yet. There's a sign at the entrance to tell you this is a counter service place, so order before you sit down. We were checking out the menu and staff came over to greet us. Staff were friendly and checked on us and asked to let them know if we have feed back. Drink menu is only on the counter in front of the register. We had the beef roll, pork Xiao Long Bao and Beef Noodle soup. We liked the taste of all three. BF turned out enjoying the Xiao Long Bao the most. Beef roll took awhile to come out, so I was surprised it was served cold instead of hot, but it was tasty. (I don't think I had cold beef roll before). One suggestion, the pictures of the items should really match the number of serving. Only because most people are more visual (I am guilty of it.) I was expecting 8 Xiao Long Bao instead of 5 like the menu stated. :)

I literally called ahead to confirm they had the traditional dim sum carts rolling, and was told they had the carts until 3pm. I showed up well before then, stepped inside, and discovered they didn't have carts. I was figured it was a miscommunication, so we sat down and thought to try it. Now, I always give service staff a ton of grace when a place is slammed. But there was barely anyone in the dining room, and we still received incredibly mediocre service. We had to ask our server four separate times for our drinks. When the food finally arrived, it didn't do anything to save the experience. The Chow Fun was soggy, sad, and clearly not freshly cooked, and the Dim Sum was completely unseasoned. It's sad to say, but this was our last visit. It can't justify playing $70 for bad service and bad food. Where you should go instead: - For the absolute best, authentic dim sum cart experience in the LA area, take the drive out to NBC Seafood House. - For chow fun that will actually change your life, check out Full Moon House and order the beef chow fun dry. You won't regret making the trip to either of those places. Food Taste: C Food Quality: D Service: F Recommendation: Skip it, they need to do better.
