The service wasn't the worst, and it wasn't good, it was just bad. The workers seemed pretty young, so this may have been their first job, and I want to keep that in mind. When we arrived, we were greeted, but there were already three dirty tables that needed to be cleared. After we sat down, a large group left, so another table needed cleaning, and then the table next to us also finished and needed to be cleared. From what we saw, there were three employees working the floor, but they didn't even start clearing and cleaning the tables until after our food arrived. They all cleaned the tables together, and it still took quite a while, so the dining area looked messy for most of our visit. It also took a while for someone to take our order, although the food came out quickly and was piping hot. The pho itself was good, especially for the area. One thing that surprised me was that they didn't bring the usual vegetable plate with the pho (Thai basil, bean sprouts, cilantro, jalapeños, etc.) I had read another review mentioning they were sometimes low on ingredients, so I didn't ask at first. But I also didn't want to take that review to heart or change my perspective, but DEFINITELY read and take the reviews into consideration!! Because it was my mistake to not ask about the veggie plate because the family seated next to us received a full plate of veggies. I guess you do, have to ask for everything because no one checked on us during the meal. I had to get up to ask for a refill. When I did, the employees were standing around chatting even though there were still tables that needed to be cleaned. Overall, the food was good. The pho was good for the area, but the service didn't match the hype. I probably wouldn't go out of my way to come back although local. On the bright side, this visit definitely motivated me to check out the Korean restaurant next door. read more
