The customer service was excellent! They checked in on us and made sure we're doing alright. The place was nice and clean. My man ordered shaken beef with garlic noodles and fried chicken. I had the bbq beef with garlic noodles. The food was amazing and delicious. The meat was perfect, no bones or hella fat. The noodles was great. I def wouldn't mind coming back. We really wanted to like this place because the food itself is genuinely good. The flavors are great and everything we've tried has been tasty. Unfortunately, ongoing service issues have completely overshadowed the experience for us -- not just once, but twice. The first time we came with my immediate family (my wife and kids) along with my in-laws, they completely forgot my entrée. By the time we realized it wasn't coming, everyone else had already finished eating. We gave them the benefit of the doubt and decided to try again. On our most recent visit, the same thing happened -- this time to my father-in-law. His salmon entrée never came out. After a long wait and checking in multiple times, we were eventually told that the ticket had been thrown away and the dish was never made. Later, they tried to explain that they didn't prepare the salmon because it had been contaminated with shrimp, which he's allergic to. While we certainly appreciate caution around food allergies, this explanation didn't really add up -- especially since no one informed us at the time, and it only came up after we questioned what happened. It honestly felt more like the dish was simply forgotten again. Mistakes can happen, but when the same major issue occurs on two separate visits -- especially involving completely missing entrées -- it's hard to ignore. Good food can only make up for so much. Saw the pictures and came here with my wife on a dinner date. The place is in a lot so it might seem inconspicuous but the inside is legit. Two TV's up with the playoffs on. Sat quickly and had water on the table quick. Funny as this may sound it's legit. The water came out in these nice steel cups with the small ice chips! It tasted delicious! I ordered the shaken beef garlic noodles, and my wife ordered the shrimp garlic noodles. They both were really flavorful. Like towards the end everything was cooked together at some point. We had a side of steamed veggies they literally were just that, no salt or anything else! But you gotta get the veggies in. My wife loved Moodles and said it was her new favorite spot! I'm new to the area (work related) so seeing what Brentwood has to offer and trying new food places I'm very excited for. Went to Moodles with coworkers for some Pho on a cold day. Menu items looked good and I was tempted to try some other things but I stuck with the Pho. I believe we all ordered the Eye Round Pho in either regular or large size. Two people also split the Shaken beef with garlic noodles. The broth was delicious by itself but I had to add in some classic favorites: chili oil, hoisin, bean sprouts, mint, jalapeño and lemon squeeze. I usually add two scoops of chili oil so I did the same. Man, their chili oil is spicier than other ones I have tried. Just a tip, add it slowly. I enjoy spice but two scoops was a little too much. Each of their favorites were ordered and I suggested an item they hadn't tried. Without going into all of the details, I will just say that I was impressed with the freshness and quality of every dish! I don't doubt that all of the dishes will impress! We recently moved to Oakley and tried a few Pho places around. We found Moodles on Yelp and went to Brentwood to check them. It's just a few miles from our house so the drive was quick. Noodle is on Sand Creek Road. Parking is abundant and the place is spacious. They have a lot of tables and chairs and the place is clean. I ordered the Spicy Beef noodle with beef, pork, Vietnamese ham, and tendon. The service is fast. I had the order within 10 minutes. I ordered the regular size and it's just right. They serve a generous amount of beef. The rice noodle is soft. The soup is not too spicy. However, you can add slices of jalapeno to get more kick. I enjoyed this meal, and it will be my go-to pho soup from now on. They also serve rice plates and I will try them next time read more

Our first time at Moodles. First impression, restaurant was pretty dirty. The tables next to us were dirty when we got there and remained uncleaned the whole time we were there. Maybe they were short staffed. Floors were very dirty, some food on the floor on the table behind us. Our table was sticky too, we had to wipe it ourselves. The server was okay, not very friendly or customer service oriented. The food however was great! My family and I love this place! It is located in Brentwood, Ca The place is clean and staff here are very friendly! They have a good selection of pho and rice dishes on their menu. We haven't ordered anything we didn't like. Their rice dishes have a crunch to it that makes the dish especially good! Their pho has 2 sizes, regular or large but we always get the regular size which is good enough for one and I always have leftovers to take home! Recommended to friends and family. SIL ordered takeout today because my little niece wanted some crispy chow fun (I took her there last time I went). Unfortunately in 8 short months the place has taken a turn for the worse. Food lacked flavor, they were out of ingredients and when we inquired they told us they had run out since this morning but would get some tomorrow. That doesn't help my pho that you didn't warn me in advance wouldn't have any condiments to go inside it. Why not inform someone when they order an item that it wouldn't be served with the usual ingredients? Then I could have made an informed decision and ordered something else. I typically go for Pho, alway well prepared, high quality meats, and perfect noodles with one of the best broth's I've ever had since I started eating viet food almost ten years ago. This place is so tasty! The service is fast and the servers are kind. The whole restaurant looks and is very clean. I got the garlic noodles with beef and it was amazing! The beef was cooked perfectly and seasoned well and I also ordered a Thai tea and it was authentic. I will definitely be coming back. I love the cups they use for water they are stainless steel and keep your drink very cold. Some very nice touches done by the restaurant. I absolutely love this place. It reminds me of vietnamese restaurants that we used to have 12 years ago before the quality went downhill. My husband is Vietnamese and extremely picky about his Pho! The portion was very generous, the meat was generous, and he scarfed the whole bowl down without talking. He said he wished the broth was slightly less sweet and more salty but that it was good! I always eat the grilled pork with vermicelli. I wouldn't suggest ordering at the end of the night (other than the fact that its rude) because I noticed a real difference in the amount of pork on my meal but that didnt stop me from devouring the whole plate. The popcorn chicken is a spicy salt and pepper version instead of a Taiwanese style which was also delicious. Spring rolls are chefs kiss. The fish sauce is also which seems to be a struggle at other places. The Cafe sua da was knock you on your butt liquid amphetamines, which it should be. This is my new favorite dinner spot and I suggest you try it! read more

So much goodness in one place. They have banh mi, pho, vermicelli bowls, and rice plates. There's also a lot of different appetizers you can try. We had the spring rolls which were filled with pork and shrimp. He ordered the chicken pho with half noodles. The broth was piping hot and delicious. I had the pork vermicelli bowl which I was filled with grilled pork, pickled veggies, cucumbers, sprouts and lettuce. I didn't add the fish sauce and it was still very good. Def recommend this place. I come to Moodles a lot. Like... a lot a lot. And there's a reason. Their pho is seriously delicious. Comforting, flavorful, and exactly what you want whether you're starving, stressed, sick, or just looking for an excuse to be happy in a bowl. Honestly, I've tried a bunch of things here and I've loved everything. No misses. That almost never happens. The staff is just as good as the food. Friendly, welcoming, and they actually make you feel like they're glad you're there, not just processing an order. This is our 4th visit . We did a take out since it was their grand opening we did expect it to be crowded... There was a wait time for dinning & pick up orders , nice to see so many locals supporting this new business & many of the extended families of Andy (owner) visited to support it... since there was a long wait time for our pick up order we interacted with many of his family members & locals. It was a very positive experience. Restaurant was decorated very well for grand opening everyone was having a great time. So many folks in Brentwood are posting about how nice Moodles is- and everyone is right! Today we got the pho, veg spring rolls w a yummy lime flavor, with an amazing peanut sauce , wonderful veg fried rolls, ( better than most other Asian spots in the area) Also the lemongrass (sandwiches) bahn mi with fries. ( I would like avocado in these veg options but I can always add that at home) My family really liked the seafood Rangoon and seafood noodles. My daughter flew in from Yale wanting pho and ramen so this made her super happy thank you Moodles! Now I hope to see more vegan options esp some Fresh fruit drinks or maybe even Vietnamese crepes I also love how bright and clean and open the space is and how super PROFESSIONAL and hardworking the staff is. My boyfriend and I decided to try this place yesterday for dinner. At around 4pm on a Saturday, there were a few people inside so we were seated immediately. Waters came as we sat down though getting our order took a bit longer than expected. The restaurant was very clean and spacious. Large Eye Round, Brisket, & Tendon Pho (my order): Very flavorful broth! They added a lot of meat into my pho which is usually unheard of so that was a plus. Perfect for a rainy day! Large Beef Combo Pho (my boyfriend's order): "The broth was very tasty and they gave both generous portions of the meat and noodles. They have a large option for their bowls and didn't dissapoint!
