This was by far the worst nail experience I've ever had. I had an appointment at 1:30 and called ahead that I was running 5-10 minutes late. I was very understanding due to being late that he may have to take another client. He began working on my nails at 2:30. I was there to get an acrylic fill in. Typically a nail tec will fill in the outgrown area with acrylic, and smooth everything out before painting. Instead, Aaron drilled and picked almost all of the acrylic off before reapplying. He asked me probably 10 times if I wanted to use the colored acrylic powder instead of the paint, to which I said I'd like the paint because it's cheaper. He insisted that the colored acrylic would turn out a more accurate color to what I was looking for. If you see the photo below, that clearly didn't work out. Additionally, on the board, an acrylic fill in was $30. They fail to mention that cutting your nails costs $5, and shaping your nails costs $5. If that's the case, I think it should be included in your starting price. I was very surprised to my $30 manicure miraculously costing $63. Not even sure how that's possible. Not only was I mislead by prices, I was pressured to get the acrylic powder which looks NOTHING like what I asked for. He also was rude to every single customer over the phone trying to make appointments. He asked a walk in to wait 5-10 minutes, and after not being taken for 30-45, she left without being served. Another customer was told "sorry I booked two appointments at the same time. Can you come back in an hour." I personally find this SO rude and unprofessional. He also charged the client next to me an additional $25 for a French tip. Although my experience was horrendous, and my nails look absolutely nothing like what I wanted, thank goodness they're at least good quality and look fine I guess. Only go to elegant nails if you want to be treated like crap, pay an arm and a leg, and get mid looking but decent quality nails! read more
