Took a kayak tour of the Alligator River with some friends. Our guide, Ben met us at the river and got us hooked up with our gear. They provided everything! Including some snacks and water. He gave us a rundown on water safety and wildlife precautions. From there we hit the river. Ben was very knowledgeable, providing a detailed history of the river and the town that used to be there. He also told us about all the animals that call the river home. While we didn't see any gators, there was plenty of evidence that they are all around there.
