We had Jack as our instructor and he was a great teacher showing us at the beginning on the sand how the beach and tides works with rip currents, sandbars, and dangerous lightning storms. If you are in the slightest way considering taking a lesson book one. The surf shop also has a great selection of hats, shirts, swimsuits, and surf gear. The selection is great for both men and women and the prices are very reasonable. We purchased some merchandise and had a great time in our surfing lessons.
