This review is solely based on my takeout order from Fire Wings in Manteca. I picked up my food exactly when it was ready, and my drive home was only about 7-10 minutes, so everything should've still been pretty fresh. I ordered the Southwest Tender Fries, and honestly, the only thing I could really eat were the tenders and the fries. Everything else ended up super soggy. On top of that, there was just way too much sauce--too much BBQ, too much ranch. And as much as I like sauce, it was overwhelming and just too much for my liking. Maybe this dish is better when dining in, but for takeout, I wouldn't recommend it. I also got a 10-piece combo with Peanut Butter and Lemon Pepper. The flavors were solid, but the wings felt smaller than I remembered, so they weren't as satisfying as they usually are. The one thing that absolutely hit was the garlic noodles--very delicious and honestly the best part of the whole order. Overall, not terrible but not great. A solid 3/5 based on this takeout experience. read more
