I held off a long time on this review, as I was waiting for Bill Norris, the owner, to fix a few residual issues. We had about 2k sq. ft of laminate flooring installed, and a bathtub remodeled to a walk in shower. Overall, they did a decent job in a reasonable period of time. The demo company they work with came on time, and were efficient and clean in removing old carpet, some tile and vinyl plank flooring we had down in various areas, as well as the old bathtub, toilet and tile surround. Bill had us hire an outside plumber to do the piping in the shower, install new valves for the sink in the bathroom, and set in a new toilet. He did a good job on all of this, as well. We're largely happy with the laminate. It is good quality, and was overall well-done. After the installation, there were a couple of areas where the laminate didn't lay flat. Bill sent his crew foreman out to correct it. It isn't perfect in a couple of places, but is much better after the adjustment he made. The shower was done by Bill himself, and he did a pretty good job. There are a few uneven tiles, and one area in the corner of the shower where water pools up, so you have to squeegee it to the drain to avoid standing water. The shower floor slope angle could, therefore, have been better. At Bill's suggestion, we hired an outside glazier to make and install the shower glass and door. They did a good job, although the "anti-spot" coating they applied was more expensive than we anticipated. We did have water come through where the glass door meets the wall, staining the baseboard, and Bill came out and put in a piece of silicone rubber there. My wife moved it to a better location, and it seems to be ok so far. We had a custom vanity made and installed by someone else, so Bill's crew couldn't complete the baseboard in the bathroom until that was done. Bill was supposed to come back to complete the job, but hasn't been back or responded to calls and texts for a few weeks now. The attached pictures are where the baseboard was left partially done, beside and behind the vanity. We found a small gap in the laminate in one bedroom, which was brought to Bill's attention, and was supposed to have been fixed. No action on that so far, either. Bill is pleasant enough to deal with, and was extremely responsive in the early stages of this project. We paid in full, on time, as requested. I am disappointed that he hasn't followed through on the remaining small issues. It leaves it "partially done". It looks like we either need to do this ourselves, or hire someone else. We are planning to remodel a master bath, and were considering having this company do it, however without the follow through, we're considering other options. read more
