Incredibly unhappy with the service I received at French Tips. I stopped in on a whim bc the salon that I normally use was booked and I needed a new set of acrylic nails. When I entered I was greeted by some of the unhappiest worker I have ever met. Told that I didn't want acrylic nails (trust me, I've been at this a minute now ... I know what I want). The salon was overseen my a man that yelled everything he said and rarely spoke English to the women working for him. When I asked my tech what her name was she whispered something I couldn't hear and looked down. When I asked if she was ready for the holiday she quickly whispered "we work all week" and looked down. They put so many clear coats on my nails that the polish was moving for over THREE HOURS after I left the salon (note: I sat for twenty minutes for it to dry) The thing that upset me the most is that when I woke up the next day I noticed a small gap between my natural nails and the overlay on most of my nails ... a hot breeding ground for fungus, mold and bacteria. Thanks, French Tips. I will likely have to pay for another new set of nails to ensure I don't ruin my nails with this set. I would not recommend this salon to anyone. I am surprised it is still open if this is the kind of service they provide to the Floyd's Knobs area. Disgusting. read more
