Smallish cafe with innovative unique fusion menu. Kind of a sushi place that also makes a few breakfast/brush items along with various asian beverages.
We got the Smoked Salmon Benedict with tater tots (other options are rice or salad), and "Spicy Ahi/Crab Burrito"
The Benedict was good. A little undercooked for my taste. I don't like runny whites at all. I probably shouldn't have gotten it in retrospect. But a lot of people would probably like it more than I did. Its served on half a waffle, which is definitely unique. Its not huge. Would have been nice if they just provided the entire waffle. That's about 20 cents extra in ingredients right?
The burrito was basically a good sized hand roll. Rice was nice an warm. The filling was cold. The contrast in temperatures was surprisingly unique. Think of this as a large sushi hand roll. It was good. I'd get it again. Would have been nice if it came with a side salad or something.
You order at a counter, and sit down. A girl came about 4 times to refill water, which was a pleasant surprise. Some nice restaurants don't even do that.
I'd definitely come back. read more
