I was finally around the area before Freshii closed so I stopped in for a healthy meal. There was a big sign on the front window that was for $7.99 daily deals which had a different burrito/bowl depending on the day of the week which is a great deal. There were signs all throughout the restaurant advertising this deal including where the utensils were and on the plexiglass that separates the cashier from the customer. Since I was there on Wednesday, I was locked into getting the Teriyaki Twist. After placing my order, the total was way more than I expected. When I reread the the tiny sign for the deal at the register, I saw in the fine print that the offer expired September 30. Really wish they updated their signage, considering there was so much of it around the store. I added chicken to my teriyaki bowl so it wasn't quite so plain. The chicken didn't really resemble chicken. It had the texture of a vegetarian chicken substitute and had no seasoning. It was kind of what you would expect from raw broccoli and edamame. Most of the brown rice had teriyaki sauce at least so there was some flavour there. Overall was really not impressed with the misleading signage. read more
