What a great find in downtown Ferndale. They make some seriously good beer in a wide variety of styles. Of course I had to try a flight, which was a very reasonably priced four-pour sampler. Honestly I can't say I had a favorite as everything was great. The POG cider from Bellingham Cider was super smooth and fruity and the blackberry IPA was well balanced with a great berry aroma. Their Zappa Comet hazy IPA was also super smooth and not overly bitter and the Hive Brain honey rye cream ale on nitro was the definition of smooth. Our server was super friendly and knowledgeable, guiding us through the beer menu. No food here but we brought our own pizza and enjoyed lunch at their large outdoor seating area.
