Geico is a liar and a cheater. RUN FAST!!!! DO NOT USE THIS INSURANCE SERVICE! Geico didn't pay anything to me after my car got severely crashed (I did not get any injuries just fyi). It's funny how they use the face of a lizard with a British accent to sell this insurance and its association to Warren Bufett with their great polished ads all around America. I definitely do not look up to rich people earning a dishonest living, stealing from pauper's pockets when the worst, most horrendous, unexpected, sad misfortune happened to me. My car is my ultimate source of income, waited for 5 years as an immigrant from a 3rd world country to get this car to drive for Uber amongst getting faraway jobs. I've never felt so betrayed in my entire life. We bought our insurance policy when we bought our 1st car a few years ago. We'd been paying Geico on time for the past 3 years. I got into a wreck on December 12th and immediately got on the phone with Geico after the car was towed. I spoke to a woman who said their system was down and that she couldn't see my insurance policy, but SHE SAID THAT GEICO WOULD PAY FOR THE TOWING AND HAVE SOMEONE COME OUT AN APPRAISE THE CAR AND SEE IT WAS TOTALED. THIS IS WHAT THEY SAID OVER THE PHONE THE FIRST TIME THEY SPOKE WITH THEM. THEY EVEN SAID THAT THEY WOULD HAVE SOMEONE CALL THE NEXT DAY TO GO OVER EVERYTHING WITH US. Geico didn'tt call us - I had to call them. We spoke with them and it was only then that Geico said that I only had liability insurance only and that they will not be paying for the towing, the car or the appraisal. We spoke to everyone, even the manager, and told them the issue, but they wouldn't help, EVEN THOUGH THEY ALREADY SAID THEY WOULD OVER THE PHONE! THEY WALKED BACK EVERYTHING THEY SAID ON THE PHONE THE NIGHT BEFORE! This is even though the cops didn't cite me as being at fault for the accident! I even pleaded with Geico that the car is our only source of income and that it's how my wife and I get to work, but they didn't give a shit. They would only pay for any of my medical bills. I am already covered by VA, so all of my coverage was all bullshit and a complete waste of my money. The way they set up their website when you're buying insurance is very subterfuge-y. I could have sworn that I had full coverage and collision coverage, so my wife and I checked out the website as if we were going to buy insurance. The Geico website says "We sell collision coverage" ALL OVER THE PLACE on every single page on the website, but when you finally give you the offer page, THEY DO NOT OFFER YOU THE COLLISION COVERAGE IN THE INITIAL OFFER! THEY MAKE THE WEBSITE LOOK AS THOUGH THEY OFFER YOU  THE RIGHT COVERAGE! First they show you the price, then they list what you are covered for. However, they DON'T MAKE IT CLEAR THAT YOU DON'T HAVE FULL COVERAGE. You have to read ALL OF THE FINE PRINT and you have to click a small unseen button on top, in order to get coverage for everything, BUT SAYS VERY FAINTLY IN EXTREME SMALL FINE PRINT all the way down to the bottom of the page THAT IT DOESN'T INCLUDE COLLISION COVERAGE! That particular page if you are filling up the form makes your brain red "Everything included"from start to bottom of page and you didn't realize that it's written in very small fine print at the bottom "Collision coverage not included." You can say on and on yeah I signed it, maybe it's my fault that I agreed to the contract  BUT THE WEBSITE WAS FLAGRANTLY MADE TO DESIGN TO DUPE YOU EVEN THE SMARTEST ONES. OBVIOUSLY I GET CAR INSURANCE TO FIRST AND FOREMOST GET THE COLLISION COVERAGE FIRST!!! Geico was great at advertizing "We cover collision coverage " blatantly everywhere but when you go to the offer page, they hide the most important. You were made to assume you got the one with collision coverage because there were no options.They know collision costs lot and they are trying to be sly with you on the website because they don't even wanna pay you a dime. It's not fair because they were supposed to make bright and clear from the top all the cheap to expensive collision coverage options. They did not do that to fool you. Don't buy Geico. read more
