Gerry's at Nuvali Solenad Mall provided a quick, efficient dining experience with mostly well-executed Filipino comfort food. While not every dish was a standout, the overall quality and service made it worth the visit. We tried the Pancit Canton, Caldereta, Lumpia Shanghai, Chicken Kebabs, and Pork Adobo Fried Rice. The Pancit Canton was excellent--more on the saucy side, which I like better than the drier style. The Pork Adobo Fried Rice was easily one of the best dishes of the night, with tender, well-seasoned pork and perfectly cooked rice. The Chicken Kebabs were another highlight, featuring a wonderful grilled, charred smokiness that really elevated the dish. The Lumpia Shanghai was solid--crispy and well-seasoned--but it wasn't a standout compared to the other dishes. The only minor disappointment was the Caldereta, which had a good sauce and flavor, but they left the bones in the dish, and some of the meat was a bit gristly. I know leaving the bones in is more of a preference issue for me because some people like the bones left in. Despite the minor letdown with the Caldereta, I'd definitely return for the quick service and overall great food.
