The starter combo of black fig, prosciutto, and goat cheese with balsamic drizzle was fantastic, but when isn't it? Getting all those things on the same bite is magnificent.
Compliments to the tableside fish carver for filleting with sprezzatura and compliments to the chef for such an excellent branzino dish. The sauce complimented the fish and was a perfect match as it leaked onto the asparagus and potaoes.
Wife's dessert: black cherry ice cream and a cappuccino. My dessert: The amaro flight sounded interesting, but I was boring and went for a Dow 20 tawny just because it sounded really good.
