We stopped by Gino's Java for a quick coffee break and ordered two cappuccinos -- unfortunately, this was one of those rare cases when the coffee just didn't hit the mark. The flavor wasn't pleasant, and we barely finished our drinks. If you're looking for a place to enjoy a quality cup of coffee, this might not be the best choice. BUT -- there are definitely good things worth mentioning. The outdoor seating is shaded and surrounded by greenery, which creates a refreshing, calm vibe -- a great place to sit and relax away from the city buzz. The woman at the counter was very friendly and attentive, and we noticed a steady flow of customers -- not for coffee, but for food. That says a lot. We didn't try the food, so we can't give a full review, but seeing how many people were dining -- it seems like the food here might be the real star. Also worth noting: the cappuccino was only $4.75, which is lower than many other places in town. So, while we wouldn't come back for the coffee, we might stop by again to give the food a try, and we definitely appreciate the nice setting and welcoming service.
