Stopped in when I forgot my breakfast when going into the office. Gino's has been around for a long time and they always have lots of drink and food options. There is also a few tables inside to eat there or you can take it to go I decided on their special of the day for breakfast, the Tri-tip burrito. It was amazing. Gino's Java is my go-to coffee spot, since it's walkable from my downtown office. The staff is friendly from the person working the register to the cooks in the back (I've seen them bopping to the music and it creates a fun vibe). I usually get either drip coffee, Americano, or an iced coffee. They remember that I take it with oat milk and put it out for me. A bonus for being vegan, they carry vegan cookies and have a delicious cranberry-walnut bagel. I am so grateful this spot is here. read more

damn i can't lie bro. the matcha i ordered was pretty buns. it was basically straight sugar ngl. i only asked for one pump of sugar free vanilla syrup but it felt like 5 pumps of sugar full vanilla syrup. there was no matcha flavor to it either man. atleast the service was pretty quick tho. a lot of ppl waiting for drinks but they still got the drinks out very quick read more

We tried both the breakfast sandwich and the breakfast burrito with tri-tip. Breakfast sandwich was perfectly grilled with egg, cheddar, pest-mayo, and tomato on ciabatta. We stopped by Gino's Java for a quick coffee break and ordered two cappuccinos -- unfortunately, this was one of those rare cases when the coffee just didn't hit the mark. The flavor wasn't pleasant, and we barely finished our drinks. If you're looking for a place to enjoy a quality cup of coffee, this might not be the best choice. BUT -- there are definitely good things worth mentioning. The outdoor seating is shaded and surrounded by greenery, which creates a refreshing, calm vibe -- a great place to sit and relax away from the city buzz. The woman at the counter was very friendly and attentive, and we noticed a steady flow of customers -- not for coffee, but for food. That says a lot. We didn't try the food, so we can't give a full review, but seeing how many people were dining -- it seems like the food here might be the real star. Also worth noting: the cappuccino was only $4.75, which is lower than many other places in town. So, while we wouldn't come back for the coffee, we might stop by again to give the food a try, and we definitely appreciate the nice setting and welcoming service. I'm glad this coffee shop survived COVID. It's pretty much the only coffee/food shop/restaurant left near where I work now. I don't go often, but it's always my go to for when I need a little coffee pick me up in the middle of a work day. And it's always bustling which is nice to see. If you go during the lunch rush, be ready to squeeze in there while you wait. It's a small shop with not much breathing room at all when busy, but they do have some small tables to sit at outside. Also, I don't remember her name (apologies), but the lady who's always working the counter when I go is always so pleasant. She also gives good recommendations if you aren't sure of what you want. This location is truly a hidden gem! Despite having worked downtown for four years, I only stumbled upon it by accident. The turkey sandwich with guacamole, without mustard, is outstanding and highly recommended. Special appreciation goes to the chefs for their excellent service and vibrant personalities. Gino's is a good reliable place for coffee and a bite to eat. They have sandwiches, salads, soups and coffee to offer. They have a wide variety to choose from when it comes to coffee and the lady upfront is quick with getting those orders out but lunch time is pretty packed. Food does take awhile but it's made fresh and quite good. No indoor seating but they do have tables and chairs available outside. It's a good grab and go place. read more

Ok, I digress- I did try the steak breakfast burrito ONCE, and it was delicious... but there's just something so fresh and crave-able about the Morning special w/ one of Gino's seasonal specialty coffee drinks. This local hot spot serves breakfast and lunch items. It's 5 mins from our office building. I come here to get their combo sandwich and it's so good! It's meaty and delicious! I sometimes grab a quick plain bagel with jelly in the mornings when I come into the office. I haven't tried their salads yet, but one day I will.
