Keeping in tradition of trying places with the names of dead relatives, I'm here at Golda thinking of my grandmother. Golda is a cozy, cute gem of a place found on a busy street. My Jewish grandmother would give it 5 stars too because the food and drink we had was perfect for the start of our day in NYC. We split the Golda n Pancakes and the Spiced Home Fries. I was appreciative of the pancakes because they didn't taste gf and my reality is if I want pancakes I have to make my own so I loved being able to share them with the teen. The spiced home fries were reminiscent of a potato dish we had the night before at a French place the night before. Both were good. If I lived in the area I would be a regular. The guy taking our order looked stressed however he appeared to be slaying the onslaught of customers with finesse. read more
