Meh. Not my favorite Goodwill store and not one that I'd go out of my way for, but if you happen to be in Everett, it could be worth a quick stop.
Most Seattle Goodwills are fairly nice, clean, and well maintained, but this one just kind of depresses me. It's smelly in there, and while it's tidy enough, the store just feels kind of tired and dirty. It's quite small and doesn't have a very large selection, and all of the jewelry (even cheap costume junk) is in locked glass cases, so it doesn't feel very customer-friendly.
However, they have the colored tag 50% discounts and you can score some bargains if you're thorough (I got a cashmere sweater for $4). The staff are friendly and polite, so no complaints there. If I only had time for one thrift store stop in Everett, though, I'd pick the SW Everett Mall Way location over this downtown one. read more
