We are staying out in La Veleta and this lovely Italian spot really saved us. After a few unfortunate travel events, we had no cash (aka can´t pay for a cab) and this was the closest place to us that took a credit card. Phew! But anyways, the reception and food was just lovely. A family from Italy just opened the restaurant a month or two ago. The first thing they brought to the table was some beautiful bread, which is a big plus for me. I always judge restaurants on their bread. If they put effort into it, you know the rest of the meal is going to be stellar and it was. I was also missing my greens after traveling for almost a week and we got a big healthy mixed greens salad. I can´t remember the mix, but it was hearty. Our waitress suggested the lasagna for the main dish and the flavors had really sunk in and it was equally as delicious! Come and help put this place on the map! read more
