This H-E-B is probably one of the best ones I have ever shopped as far as cleanliness, customer service, and product availability. It's located in the southern area of Lubbock, TX, which is growing like a West Texas weed - fast! I brought my ice packs and cooler just to shop here after a long pulmonology appointment for my daughter on February 17, 2026. I'm learning that the HEB brands are okay in most cases, but their chips and other items have bioengineered (genetically-modified) ingredients that are probably also in other items I buy, but it's disappointing... something to watch since there still isn't much information about the health risks. The staff members stay fairly busy so they don't go out of their way to assist folks, but our cashier was real friendly. The Texas section is one of my favorites.
