Hubby and I were in the mood to try somewhere new and were craving some crispy fried chicken, so we finally decided to check out Halal Fried Chicken! We ordered the 3-piece meal with fries and a side of mozzarella sticks. The mozzarella sticks were super crispy and delicious. I didn't quite get the epic cheese pull I was hoping for, but they were still very tasty. Now for the chicken! The 3-piece meal came with a leg, thigh, and breast, and it did not disappoint. The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside. The fries were actually my favorite part of the meal. They were extra crispy, well-seasoned, and honestly hard to stop eating. We ordered takeout, so I do have one note about the packaging. The food comes in cardboard boxes, and with everything packed in a bag, the steam made the boxes a little soft and flimsy by the time we got home. It made them a bit awkward to carry, but the food was still piping hot when we sat down to eat. If you're in the mood for fried chicken that's crispy, flavorful, not overly greasy, and leaves you wanting more, Halal Fried Chicken is definitely worth a visit!
