First things first folks...this is NOT a Gordon Ramsay restaurant. Different Hell's Kitchen. Different universe. No shouting. No beef Wellington judgments. Relax.
I stopped in for breakfast on a whim and immediately fell in love with the place. It's quirky, playful, and clearly leans into its own personality rather than trying to be something it's not. The vibe alone makes it memorable.
I ordered the "Jolly-Quiles," their clever spin on chilaquiles, and it was absolutely fabulous. Paired with a Bloody Mary that was excellent and one of Buddy's Orange Sodas, which somehow tasted like pure nostalgia in a bottle...outstanding.
One small curiosity: they open at 7:30am, but alcohol service doesn't start until 8:00am. Not a dealbreaker by any stretch, just a mildly strange choice for those of us who believe brunch beverages are a lifestyle, not a suggestion.
Bottom line: fantastic breakfast, fun atmosphere, and genuinely great food. Pro tip! Do NOT leave without buying the peanut butter to take home. You'll regret it if you don't TRUST ME! read more
