Ok, so we were NOT disappointed with our choice to come here, after reading reviews. First of all, DO YOURSELF A FAVOR and try their homemade peanut butter, then buy some to take it home! The bison quesabirria tacos were amazing. The Triple C burger was outstanding! The Harvest Gimlet drink was superb! We wanted to eat more and more, but couldn't fit anything else in! I took an Oreo cupcake to go, and it was pretty tasty! We HIGHLY recommend this establishment!

We had a great brunch at Hell's Kitchen! The highlight was definitely the Bloody Mary--you can build your own and load it up with all kinds of skewers and toppings. It was such a fun experience, and everything we added was actually delicious, not just for the presentation. The pancakes were also good--fluffy, flavorful, and definitely worth ordering. The only thing is that the portion was huge, and I couldn't even finish mine. Overall, a fun brunch spot with great food and a unique Bloody Mary experience. I'd definitely come back!

Decided to go here as a group gathering and unfortunately weren't able to get a reservation on time. That said we didn't have a huge wait and the decor was super fun to look at while we waited. The only drawback was that we had to split the group into separate tables. So make a reservation if you can! The place was worth the visit though. I had the warm grain bowl and it was delightful with lots of veggies. Others enjoyed their meals also. The service was a bit slow but it all worked out. All in all it was a fun experience, give it a try if you get the chance!

My last lunch in Minneapolis before flying back home was at Hell's Kitchen. I went with the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes. So good! I also had endless refills of diet soda, or diet pop as it's said here. Our waiter was on it! If you use a credit card, they apply an additional percentage to help offset processing cost. Try to pay cash if you can.

My favorite restaurant with a unique menu, food and drinks. The restaurant is very gay inclusive. The place offers a bar and music stage. They have dining rooms. Private and open spaces. The weekend has a Bloody Mary bar that outdoes any in the city. A menu for all food tastes.

My first time here and it was awesome. Nate was my bartender. Great guy. The smashburger and fries were great. The local beers were awesome. Happy hour pricing was juuuust right.

It's a bit overhyped, decent food, friendly staff Sausage Bread Nutrient dense bread, it was boring and dry by itself If you dipped it in the Peanut Butte (made in house and is a bit crunchy) or the Orange Marmalade, it's way better. But i'd rather just eat the PB by itself. Carmel Peacan Roll Great sauce, roll was ok, it was fluffy but drier than I would like, you HAVE to dip it in the sauce Braised short rib Tender juicy and flavorful, roast potatoes are just fine

This was my second time to Hell's Kitchen. I got the pear and ham crisp with chips and queso as my side. Everything was great. My biggest complaint is that the cup the queso comes in is too small to fit a normal sized chip, very odd choice. This place has a really cool vibe and a huge menu. We were there on a Saturday afternoon so we caught the end of the Bloody Mary/mimosa bar. It's so cool and definitely worth the price as it isn't much more than just one regular drink.

This place is alright in my opinion. The food wasn't to my liking (a lot of fried food options and meat heavy options) but if that's the food you like you should come here! What we were excited for was the drinks they were delicious. The space is very on theme however I will say it's so dark you can barely see the menu which I didn't love. The space was pretty big so lots of seating and the service was good! Would recommend if you like fried diner type food.

Stopped in for dinner while in downtown. Longer wait than expected due by only a few servers, but got great service after being seated. Ordered the birria tacos on the server's suggestion, which as flavorful, had a generous portion of beef, an a rich dipping consommé - much thicker than others I've had. Came with a side of tortilla chips and queso. Would have liked a hot sauce or salsa for a little spice but it was still good.

First things first folks...this is NOT a Gordon Ramsay restaurant. Different Hell's Kitchen. Different universe. No shouting. No beef Wellington judgments. Relax. I stopped in for breakfast on a whim and immediately fell in love with the place. It's quirky, playful, and clearly leans into its own personality rather than trying to be something it's not. The vibe alone makes it memorable. I ordered the "Jolly-Quiles," their clever spin on chilaquiles, and it was absolutely fabulous. Paired with a Bloody Mary that was excellent and one of Buddy's Orange Sodas, which somehow tasted like pure nostalgia in a bottle...outstanding. One small curiosity: they open at 7:30am, but alcohol service doesn't start until 8:00am. Not a dealbreaker by any stretch, just a mildly strange choice for those of us who believe brunch beverages are a lifestyle, not a suggestion. Bottom line: fantastic breakfast, fun atmosphere, and genuinely great food. Pro tip! Do NOT leave without buying the peanut butter to take home. You'll regret it if you don't TRUST ME!

    Caramel-Pecan Roll-great for sharing

Visited 12/7/25. Been long awaiting a brunch at Hell's Kitchen since hearing about their giant Bloody Mary/mimosa bar. While we didn't partake in the bar on this occasion, it was something to see (very busy though-be prepared for lines getting into it and a bit of a wait). We came here for brunch and then followed this up with a visit to the Christmas market at the old Dayton's. We coincidentally were there on the day of a Vikings game + holiday season so it was BUSY. We had made a reservation up front so that helped and the team there definitely handled it as well as they could and worked to get food and drinks out as quickly as they could. I ordered the Huevos Rancheros, while my sister got the omelet special of the day, my mom got sides of eggs and bacon plus a caramel pecan roll to share. Highlights: -Huevos Rancheros-best item by far which we all agreed on. It's whopping and delicious and the salsa on it was delightful. I didn't get any of the add ons like avocado or meat but those would be great options. In my opinion it was so good already and didn't really need them. -Peanut butter-probably why they sell this to go as well. If you like chunkier peanut butter, this will be for you. Couldn't warrant spending the slightly steeper price for a to go jar but one dollar cheaper and I might've cracked Pretty good/solid: -Caramel roll-would be good as a shareable but would be really sugary for one person. Definitely a bit more of a chewy exterior-loved the pecans! Other tips/tricks: -Parking is going to cost you, as it always does downtown, but there is a ramp next door to the restaurant which is convenient if not a bit more expensive than any kind of meters in Mpls.

Does this place offer bottomless mimosas/bloody marys?

No, they do not offer bottomless mimosas or bloody mary's. They have a bar that costs $9.95 for each drink. There's a jacked-up bloody mary that's another $7 where you can make your own with a large variety of sauces and things.

It was a Sunday night, so I think she wanted to reserve tables for parties of two or more. I was fine with it, but I noticed there were quite a few empty tables. The interior has that classic vintage pub feel with lots of character and natural light. There are tons of booths and different seating areas that could accommodate parties of all sizes. I especially liked the glass dividers between some of the booths, which give you a little extra privacy without making the space feel closed off. My booth also had coat hooks and easy access to outlets, which I appreciated. I could definitely see myself coming here for a working lunch. My server was incredibly friendly and helpful, especially as I was trying to figure out how to use a couple of rewards I had on my account. I specifically came in wanting to try the fish and chips. Their lunch menu offers smaller portions of several dishes from the dinner menu, including a fish and chips option for around $15. I really wanted to try the walleye, though, so I ended up ordering the full dinner portion for around $28. The fish was absolutely the star of the plate. The breading was fantastic--crunchy around the edges while still light and fluffy--and the fish inside practically melted in my mouth. The tartar sauce was also really good and paired perfectly with it. The sides, unfortunately, didn't impress me nearly as much. There were plenty of fries, but they were pretty average, and the coleslaw was mostly cabbage with a light dressing. It felt like it was missing some acidity or lime to give it a little more personality. For almost $30, I also expected the meal to be a bit more substantial. I left satisfied, but found myself hungry again a couple of hours later, so I'm not sure the dinner portion felt worth the price for me. If you're mainly curious about their fish and chips, I'd probably recommend trying the smaller lunch portion first rather than committing to the more expensive dinner version. Would I come back? Absolutely--the atmosphere, service, and location alone make The Local worth another visit, and I noticed several other dishes on the menu I'd be interested in trying. I just don't know that I'd order this particular meal again. The fish itself was excellent, but for me, the sides and overall value didn't quite match it.
