I was in Boston for the week for a work conference. My home store is Waikiki but I also have a wonderful SA at the SF store. After having so many items transferred from the Boston store, I thought it would be a fun experience to finally visit the store. It's also really nice to visit Hermes stores while travelling. I've been a client since 2008.
Unfortunately, no one really cared or even acknowledged my existence in the store after 45 minutes. I spoke to the security who said that he'd have the next SA help me. Another 30 minutes passed and I just told him I'd come back another day. His response: Do want you want. It's kind of sad to be so let down by this store and experience the unacceptable snobbery from the brand.
The brand definitely is not what it once was and the SA could not care less about greeting customers. I did get a death glare from an SA behind the cash register, so I guess that counts? Definitely left a very bad taste. But the company couldn't care less. "Thank you, next." There's probably countless of people behind me ready to throw money at the company.
