I have been watching this renovation and waiting for them to open. It feels like it took forever. The first time I tried to go in they were on a 45 minute wait. I was only one person so I decided I would come back at a later date. Today was that day. I would recommend going earlier in the morning to beat the crowd. By about 10am the place has people out side waiting on any given day. The iced mocha has a very thick delicious whip cream on top. The food was equally as good. I had Toms scrabble with the chicken fried stake and hash browns. The biscuit was fall about flakey and good. The hash browns were cooked to perfection. It has a New Orleans style vibe. If you're in the neiborhood give them a try just be prepared to wait for a table. It does feel a bit small and there is one area of the building that is not being used at all right now. Not sure if there is a plan for that space. read more
