The Best Steak House around, here in Progreso called Humo Bistro located on Calle 66 The restaurant is very nice with outdoor seating. We greeted by our very friendly waiter Javier, and he set us outside by a nice palm tree. For appetizers we had the steak tacos that were absolutely delicious. My wife ordered the New England clam chowder that came in a crispy bread bowl, it was delicious, Hot, with a lot of Clams, and the bread bowl is so good you can break off pieces and scoop up the delicious soup. I had the filet mignon with french fried potatoes asparagus with a black pepper sauce, it has to be one of the best steaks I have had in Yucatan in years, and the French fries or homemade with a lemon salt, the steak was to die for, and so is that pepper sauce this Chef really knows what he's or she is doing. We can't wait to go back, I took a look at the lasagna and that is what I want to have next time, I also saw the hamburger and that looked mouth watering. The Owner greated us to make sure everything was good , she's very nice. We also met the manager, she is so friendly with the biggest smile.
