What a cute coffee spot! I was early for a dinner by Carroll Gardens and needed a quick caffeine jolt... and very conveniently, Hungry Ghost is just steps from the train station. Offering coffee, lattes, matcha, ice tea and a few pastry options. It's quiet with a loud playlist, with a few small tables and some seatings outside, open to the public. The cafe was managed by 1 lovely barista/cashier/staff... she ran the whole operation. Taking orders - making my latte - and cleaning all around the cafe. I sat by the door and quite a few moms & kids came in for pastry! Tells me, I may need to return... My latte was just right, a tad of vanilla with a balance of ice to espresso. read more
