food - the front counter features a variety of donuts, including sprinkled frosting donuts and square glaze donuts slightly larger than donut holes. i did not look closely at any other donuts in the case because i already had my mind set on a strawberry frosted donut, which i had not tried from java dough before, but liked a lot. and i also got my mom a dozen donut holes, partly because she already had coffee at her house, so that was my idea of a trade. she did not make a judgement on the trade, but
said the donut holes taste good, which aligns with the liberal amount of glaze in the picture i got of the bag content.
service - the restaurant is family owned, so there is some consistency with who is working when i have frequented the store previously. i had not seen the guy working the counter befote, but he was friendly and picked a good strawberry donut for me. then the cashier was a woman i have seen before, who i believe is one half of the couple that owns and operates the restaurant.
ambiance - i have always gone to the drive-thru window at the restaurant, so it was nice to see the interior, which i find cozy and well-decorated. read more
